February 2008 Handicapping Contest

A) The February 23^rd, 2008, handicapping contest will be a free contest and will be held at the Wyoming Off-Track location in Evanston, Wyoming. The contest will require the handicapping of designated races at designated tracks assigned by Wyoming OTB management.

The February 23^rd Handicapping Contest will cover the following track and races:

Sunland Park – Even Races Only

Turf Paradise – Odd Races Only

In case of a track cancellation, a substitute track will be put in its place.

Please Note:  This contest will be a “WIN” only contest with a twist. Each time you win a race, all your winnings will be multiplied by the number of wins you have.

The way the scoring works:

Race 1 you pick the winner and it pays $5.00 to win, you have $5.00 on your bankroll. The next race you also pick the winner and it pays $10.00, now you have two winners and all your earnings will be multiplied by two. So instead of having $15.00 on your bankroll, you now have $30.00 on your bankroll.

B) The winner will be determined by the person with the highest ending bankroll at the end of the assigned races. No purchase is necessary to enter and no entry fee is required. All patrons will be limited to one (1) entry in the contest.

C) Patrons registering for the contest may do so up to the last scheduled race on Saturday, February 23^rd. Patrons will receive a packet containing the horses running in each race and will be asked to mark a horse to “mythically “win and return it back to the handicapping table before the post time of that scheduled race. Patrons do not need to submit all “mythical” win cards in order to win. Handicapping packets will be available to all patrons beginning on Thursday afternoon, February 21^st.

D) Any late scratches after your entry card is turned in will result in receiving the post time favorite as determined by the OTB management and Equibase results.

E) 1^st Place is $75.00 and 5000 Wyoming Rewards Points, 2^nd Place is $37.50 and 2500 Wyoming Rewards Points and 3^rd Place is 2000 Wyoming Rewards Points.
